Our Journey "Home"

You may know that we keep all of the backing cloths from our print table. Over the past 18 months or so, many of our friends and customers have shown interest and given ideas of what they would do with the cloths. Well, we have decided on a few Ideas. 

We are in the process of stretching some like canvas to be hung as wall art. A few people have asked for throw pillows. So we are working on the backing cloth memory pillows.

You may also know that we've been felting some very special blankets.

The blankets are sourced from surplus outlets and from secondhand stores. The felted bits are from discarded articles no longer wearable. Inspired by Jody wanting to felt some articles of his mother's into a blanket for his dad (this year's Christmas gift). With that first one done and sparks of interest, several more followed to create this year's collection. The dilemma; do you cuddle in the recliner with them or hang them as art?

While sourcing materials, Simon found a small cash of wool cases and our felted pillow was born.

These happen to be extremely soft to the touch. Made with the same premise as the blankets, each is unique though we have used same bits on multiple cases (if you want a set).
